What this site collects
Nothing unless you fill in the contact form or place an order. There are no accounts and no advertising on this site.
The contact form
When you send a message we receive what you typed, so that we can reply. It comes to us by email, and the site also keeps a copy: your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, what you asked about and your message, so we can look back at past questions.
With it we record the time, your IP address and whether the message sent successfully. That exists to stop the form being abused and to let us notice when it stops working.
That record is deleted after 730 days (two years). The deletion is automatic and is enforced in code, not just promised here.
Orders and payment
When you check out, you pay on a secure page run by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your name, email, phone, shipping address and card details to process the payment and send your receipt, under Stripe's privacy policy. We see your order, name, email, phone and address so we can fill the order. We never see or store your card number.
Your cart is kept in your own browser until you check out. This site also records a small technical note of each checkout attempt: the time, your IP address, how many items, and whether it reached Stripe. That note is deleted after 90 days, automatically.
Orders are kept on this site: your name, email, phone, delivery address and what you bought, so New Road Brinery can pack and ship them. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by this site. Order records are kept for our business records.
Who else sees it
Messages reach us by email, and orders through Stripe. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
